Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This Refund Policy governs all refund requests related to WaveBeat Studio services. Due to the highly customized and creative nature of audio production work, our refund policy is structured around service type and project phase. We encourage all clients to carefully review this policy before placing an order. By engaging our services, you acknowledge acceptance of the refund terms outlined below.

§ 01

Beat Licensing — Non-Refundable

Due to the immediate digital delivery of licensed beats (MP3, WAV, and Trackouts) and the irreversible nature of licensing rights transfer, all beat licensing purchases are final and non-refundable. This applies to Basic License ($29), Premium License ($79), and Exclusive License ($299+) purchases.

Exceptions are made only in the following cases:

  • Technical delivery failure from our side where the Client cannot access the purchased files after multiple delivery attempts.
  • Duplicate purchase of the same license for the same beat by the same Client within 24 hours (excess charges refunded).
  • Proven fraudulent use of the Client's payment method (requires documentation).
§ 02

Custom Production Services

Custom Beat Production, Full Track Production, Vocal Editing, Mixing & Mastering, and Music for Brands are subject to the following refund structure:

  • Before production begins: The 50% deposit is non-refundable once the project is formally accepted into the production queue and creative work begins. Cancellation requested within 24 hours of deposit payment, before any work has commenced, may receive a 75% refund of the deposit at our discretion.
  • During production: If the Client cancels mid-production, no refund of the deposit is issued. Any balance paid beyond the deposit may be refunded proportionally based on completion percentage, as determined by WaveBeat Studio.
  • After draft delivery: Once the first draft has been delivered, no refunds are issued. The Client is entitled to the included revision rounds as specified in the project agreement.
  • After final delivery: All work is considered accepted and final 7 calendar days after final file delivery if no issue is raised.
§ 03

Quality Guarantee & Revisions

WaveBeat Studio stands behind the quality of all work delivered. If you are not satisfied with the creative direction of a deliverable, your primary recourse is the revision process, not a refund. Every project includes a specified number of revision rounds designed to bring the result to your satisfaction.

If after all included revisions the delivered work fundamentally fails to meet the originally agreed-upon scope, specifications, and references provided by the Client at the start of the project, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion. Creative preference changes after brief approval do not qualify.

§ 04

Non-Refundable Situations

The following scenarios do not qualify for a refund under any circumstances:

  • Change of mind after project completion or final delivery.
  • Dissatisfaction resulting from Client-provided reference materials being unclear or contradictory.
  • Commercial performance of the delivered work (streams, sales, audience reception).
  • Client's inability to use delivered files due to their own technical limitations (missing software, hardware, or skills).
  • Delay or cancellation of the Client's own release, project, or creative venture.
  • Refusal of the Client to participate in the feedback and revision process.
  • Failure to respond to our communications for more than 30 days during active production (project is considered completed as-is).
§ 05

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our official support email. We process each request individually and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.

§ 06

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients are expected to contact WaveBeat Studio first for any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their financial institution. Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution through our direct support channel will result in:

  • Immediate suspension of all licenses and usage rights granted by WaveBeat Studio.
  • Possible referral to a legal collection service.
  • Permanent ban from future service engagements.

We reserve the right to contest any unjustified chargeback with supporting documentation including communication records, delivery confirmations, and signed agreements.

§ 07

Modifications

WaveBeat Studio reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to transactions initiated after the modification date. Active projects at the time of modification remain subject to the policy in effect when the deposit was paid.
